Midori is our local Go To for consistently good sushi. We've been going here for a few years now since they reopened a while after COVID. My neighbor's turned us on to the place when they ordered sushi platters during and after COVID since they didn't open their dining area until much after most places had already opened. Their sushi and food has remained consistent with quality and taste and never failed us. Sushi is always fresh tasting and lots of variety of specialty rolls also. My kids really love the chicken katsu dinner and always get that. Their Kani salad is one of the best I've had around the area. Their dining area is nice and large with plenty of seating and is a great atmosphere. They are BYOB also, which is a plus. It you are from the area you are missing out if you don't have Midori as one of your go to local sushi spots. You won't be disappointed.

This is my favorite sushi! Their lunch combo is an amazing deal. It’s so fun getting the party platter A or B when there’s a group of you eating together. Staff is sweet and consistent. The fish is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend! (Photos from party platter A - takeout style)

Midori Japanese Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The ambiance is cozy yet stylish, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. We started with the miso soup and gyoza, both of which were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The sushi was the real highlight — so fresh and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying their specialty rolls; the Midori Roll was a flavor explosion! The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. For anyone looking for an authentic and reasonably priced Japanese meal, this place is a must-visit. Excellent food and service! Everything was great and SO fresh. We always go here and we’ve never been disappointed. Amy is a wonderful waitress!

I called the day of Valentines's Day thinking I would try this restaurant for the first time. They accepted my reservation and I was not sure if I wanted to go because it told me that no one made reservation on a busy day like that. I went anyway and it was a pleasant surprise. I was able to be seated right away even though there were about 20 people waiting at the door. The place was nicely decorated, simple but fine. The chairs are wide and comfortable and the table spacing is very wide, so you feel spacious. Even though it is a busy day, the waiters did not push us. They come right away once I call them to ask questions and are polite. The waiter also removed my plate promptly after I finish. The food was tasty. We had Oceanic Volcano Roll and the Blue Crab Fantastic Roll, spicy calamari, white tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi and a spider roll. They are all very good. The fish is fresh and delicious. The two premium rolls are also excellent. The price is average, not cheap, but not quite expensive either. Even the tea is not washed down tea. I would recommend people to come try for themselves.
